Eschatology

Eschatology is the part of theology concerned with death, judgment, and the final destiny of the soul and of humankind.

Historically, there have been various differing views on Eschatology among Christians and still today. The four most common views are: Amillennialism, Historic Premillennialism, Postmillennialism, and Dispensationalism. The view that is promoted and discussed at greater length below falls in the category of Historic Premillenialism.
